Automation QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products.
• Identify, document, analyze, and manage product defects throughout the development process.
• Develop detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Manage project dependencies and mitigate potential risks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing development.
• Proven ability to create clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency in testing Webservice/Restful APIs and familiarity with databases like MySQL.
• Strong programming skills with expertise in at least one of the following languages: Java, Javascript, or Python.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira, Trello, and Slack.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Experience working in distributed or remote environments.
• Passion for problem-solving and a strong curiosity to understand the root causes behind issues.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of automation build-up processes.
• Proficient in using at least one source code management tool like SVN or Git.
