Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct due diligence on new customers, including requesting and reviewing KYB information and documentation for verification, while assessing associated risks.
  • Perform ongoing Know Your Customer/Business reviews during customer onboarding and subsequent monitoring per internal policies.
  • Investigate high-risk clients, such as Politically Exposed Persons, and gather necessary documentation for customer files completion.
  • Engage in drafting operational policies and procedures related to KYB.
  • Regularly assess existing customers in adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain communication with customers to update customer files promptly.
  • Process customer record amendments in various applications.
  • Provide support and knowledge sharing with cross-functional teams in Operations.
  • Evaluate ongoing work streams, provide feedback for operational enhancements, and contribute to achieving individual and team objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' business and associated parties to monitor client activities effectively.
  • Conduct further investigations on suspicious clients and transactions, reporting findings to the KYB/AML compliance officer.
  • Engage in specific projects that may arise intermittently.

Job Requirements:

  • Mandatory possession of a relevant Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous experience in KYB and business onboarding; fintech experience is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of financial technologies/services legislation preferable.
  • Effective communication with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in decision-making, problem-solving, and both independent and team collaboration.
  • Traits including integrity, initiative, perseverance, discretion, respect for others, interest in fintech, and motivation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and data management; additional languages a plus.
  • Proficiency in English language and excellent computer literacy.
