Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Backend Engineer with a profound knowledge of blockchain and backend technologies to play a pivotal role within our team. The ideal candidate will exhibit a firm grasp of backend systems, adeptness in crafting scalable and dependable solutions, and a keen interest in blockchain innovation. Proficiency in DevOps and blockchain development would be a notable asset. This role requires your physical presence on-site at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and uphold scalable, high-performance backend systems through either Golang or Python.
• Oversee and enhance relational databases like PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with frontend peers to seamlessly integrate blockchain capabilities and guarantee end-to-end system efficiency.
• Establish and maintain secure, scalable API services optimized for performance.
• Uphold best practices like automated testing, code review processes, and thorough documentation for code development.
• Manage AWS resources, pipelines, and infrastructure.
• Monitor and enhance system performance and dependability, troubleshooting and rectifying backend issues that arise.
• Play a part in the development and deployment workflows through embracing DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in blockchain, backend development, and DevOps strategies to enhance the platforms continuously.

Qualifications

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrates strong competency in Golang or Python, backed by a minimum of 3 years of backend development experience.
• Comes armed with extensive practice using relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, encompassing design, optimization, and management.
• Exhibits familiarity with blockchain technology, smart contracts, and Decentralized Applications (DApps).
• Possesses knowledge of DevOps practices, inclusive of CI/CD, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, AWS services, and infrastructure as code.
• Displays a clear understanding of RESTful API development and the architecture of microservices.
• Showcases exemplary problem-solving skills, emphasizing on delivering efficient and scalable solutions.
• Possesses the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team, with excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts effectively.

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually
