Position Overview
As the Senior Software Engineer for Banking Services, you will be responsible for nurturing and refining our core banking skeleton. Main Duties
- Sketch and execute the technical blueprints for core banking systems leveraging Golang
- Construct a sturdy support for our digital banking entity, coordinating with the Infra/SRE team, integrating payment platforms, account oversight, and transaction streams
- Fashion secure, adaptable banking APIs conforming to Open API standards
- Liaise with compliance factions to establish a robust KYC/AML system and procedures
- Forge data delivery channels aligned with regulations and data analysis requirements
- Architect and implement financial functionalities covering treasury activities, FX exchanges, and credit processes
- Mentor the team in adhering integrated payment solutions and bank associates
- Assure compliance with banking protocols and security standards across all systems
- Propel engineering excellence via top practices, code evaluations, and ongoing enhancement
- Facilitate technical solutions alignment with business aspirations through teamwork with product, design, and operational stakeholders
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in financial technology
- 2+ years in the banking industry
- Proficient in Golang
- Track record of constructing and scaling financial platforms
- In-depth comprehension of banking operations, transaction networks, and financial frameworks
- Familiarity with data security norms specific to financial entities
- Exposure to treasury management, FX dealings, and credit systems
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and Open API guidelines
- Hands-on experience with microservices patterns and cloud-native apps
- Strong affinity for conflict resolution and adept problem-solving capability
- Effective communication prowess, adept at simplifying intricate jargon for non-technical parties
