Who may apply
Candidates currently enrolled in university or recent graduates.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team (developers, product managers, traders, and researchers) to create, test, and deliver high-quality products.
- Understand business contexts and technical designs, offering input in Product Requirement Document discussions and code reviews.
- Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and cases.
- Execute test cases, pinpointing issues through functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.
- Identify and monitor bugs to ensure timely resolution and delivery.
- Handle project dependencies and mitigate risks.
- Create and execute automated testing scripts to drive efficiency.
- Conduct load and performance testing.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or holding a recent degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with software engineering principles, QA methodologies, terminology, best practices, testing types, and QA tools.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language like Java or Python.
- Understanding of event processing models, web services, and REST.
- Knowledge of Linux, MySQL databases, and cloud services.
- Grasp of Agile/Scrum development approaches and collaboration tools like Jira and Kanban.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Logical thinker, quick learner, and strong work ethic.
- Experience with financial products is advantageous.
