Blockchain Data Scientist

They are currently seeking a Blockchain Data Scientist/Analyst to be part of the team responsible for exploring new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), creating dashboards, and drawing insights in the evolving blockchain space.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across studios to meet their data requirements
• Establish and maintain data pipelines for efficient processing of both on-chain and off-chain data
• Transform, clean, and manage data for easy access and analysis by various business units
• Construct data models to standardize complex blockchain data for insight generation
• Design automated systems to assess the outcomes of smart contract actions
• Aggregate large and intricate data sets to fulfill business needs
• Identify and implement process enhancements to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Develop infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources utilizing SQL and AWS technologies
• Create analytical tools leveraging the data pipeline to provide actionable insights on business metrics

Requirements / Skill Sets:

• Strong background in senior science/analytics roles with data infrastructure experience
• Preferably, a good grasp of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies
• Proficiency in working with databases, particularly advanced SQL knowledge
• Experience in building and optimizing big data pipelines and architectures
• Ability to analyze data to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities
• Proficient in data transformation, structures, metadata, and workload management
• Skilled at extracting value from large datasets and working with unstructured data
• Knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and scalable data stores
• Effective project management and organizational abilities
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable presenting to stakeholders at all levels
