Responsibilities
- Primary tasks include ensuring the continuous operation of the application in the Production environment.
- Managing other non-production environments like pre-production and staging.
- Deep understanding of application features and various supported blockchains.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure engineers to grasp upcoming changes for production.
- Implement fixes, optimizations, and enhancements on applications and infrastructure.
- Identify issues that could impact production uptime, scalability, or responsiveness from deliveries.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and address application alerts and incidents.
- Oversee incident and problem management, followed by post-resolution checks to ensure effective resolution.
- Enhance monitoring tools and processes continuously.
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and audits.
- Maintain and provide support for blockchain infrastructure.
- Senior roles involve communicating with stakeholders about application-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in blockchain technology and programming languages like Rust, JavaScript, or Golang.
- Necessary working or project experience in the Web 3/Cryptocurrency/Blockchain realm.
- Previous work experience in application support.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and adept at analyzing logs for irregularities.
- Curiosity and ability to pinpoint problems or root causes, communicating findings effectively with the team.
- Experience with deploying on various cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services.
- Competence in building, implementing, and managing monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Proficiency in deploying and maintaining container infrastructures including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining logging tools like Fluentd, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.
- Familiarity with developing and deploying infrastructure through code using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Ansible.
- Understanding of blockchain concepts with knowledge about one or more blockchain technologies considered a plus.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
