Business Compliance Specialist

The Business Compliance team at Binance offers regulatory support and recommendations for new product initiatives worldwide. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that new products adhere to relevant regulatory requirements from inception through to launch.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive compliance oversight for product launches, new features, maintenance, and enforce country-specific product restrictions within the assigned portfolio.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess and potentially expand product availability in restricted markets.
• Proactively identify business expansion opportunities for the assigned product portfolio, conducting regulatory analysis and implementing necessary controls.
• Develop compliance plans in coordination with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives and embed best practices in products and services.
• Work closely with product teams, global compliance teams, and local/regional compliance personnel to ensure regulatory controls are in place for timely and compliant product launches.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, assess their impact on products and controls, implement necessary changes, and provide advisory support to business teams.
• Cultivate strong relationships across the organization to enhance the image of the Business Compliance Team and effectively support work activities.
• Monitor global regulatory developments affecting product offerings, and communicate actionable guidance to stakeholders. Assist with other products as needed to ensure global coverage.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Compliance/Regulatory Advisory roles supporting product launches in crypto, fintech, brokerage, exchanges, asset management, payments, or banking industries (preferably with global exposure).
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with Product/Engineering/Operations teams for compliant product launches (specifying requirements, controls, testing, go-live strategies).
• Proficiency in establishing country-specific product restriction frameworks, including eligibility criteria, geofencing, disclosures, KYC/AML checks, leverage limits, and marketing guidelines.
• Understanding of crypto exchange products, custody solutions, wallets, on/ off-chain flows, product listings, stablecoins, and exposure to DeFi/Web3 developments.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into product requirements, incorporating user experiences, control points, monitoring mechanisms, alerts, and audit trails.
• Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory environments and recent developments (e.g., MICA regulations).
• Strong adaptability, communication skills, stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working independently, prioritizing projects based on regulatory and business risks.
• Enthusiasm for Web3, along with knowledge of current regulatory trends.
• Practical experience with implementing AI solutions for enhancing efficiency and controls is a plus.
