Overview
Our client, a rapidly expanding logistics-tech startup within the cross-border eCommerce sector, is based in Singapore. They are seeking a highly impactful individual for a revenue-focused role responsible for the entire commercial process, from initial contact to contract finalization. The role involves establishing strategic collaborations with merchants, logistics providers, and eCommerce platforms in multiple countries, requiring frequent travel between markets. This position is focused on driving revenue and growth, rather than acting in a supporting or administrative capacity.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business in Hong Kong and Mainland China by identifying, pursuing, and closing lucrative opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with merchants, logistics providers, eCommerce platforms, and other key partners.
- Manage partnership discussions from start to finish, including negotiating terms and finalizing contracts. Conduct regular meetings with clients and partners in Hong Kong and Mainland China to enhance relationships and drive growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to facilitate seamless onboarding and successful partnership launches.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor strategies, and client needs to identify new growth opportunities and potential product enhancements.
- Represent the company at industry events, expos, conferences, and networking functions. Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet growth targets.
- Develop customized business proposals, presentations, and partnership strategies tailored to individual clients and partners.
- Assist with additional business development projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Possess a Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Have 3–5 years of experience in areas such as Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, or Account Management.
- Thorough understanding of the Hong Kong market; prior experience working with Mainland China clients or partners is highly advantageous.
- Exposure to cross-border eCommerce, logistics, supply chain, SaaS, or related industries is a plus.
- Proven ability to identify new opportunities and foster strategic partnerships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English languages.
