The Arbitrum Foundation, headquartered in the Cayman Islands, is responsible for fostering the growth of the Arbitrum ecosystem which includes Arbitrum One, an Optimistic Rollup solution enhancing app scalability and capacity while upholding Ethereum's security protocols, and Arbitrum Nova, a cost-effective fee structure suitable for Social and Gaming applications.

Currently, Arbitrum stands as a leading Ethereum scaling solution, occupying a significant market share with a multitude of apps on the platform and over half of all rollup liquidity.

We are in search of a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to oversee our efforts in establishing valuable partnerships and driving business expansion within the enterprise sector. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of blockchain technology, strong business acumen, and a successful background in expanding business horizons with enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Develop Strategic Partnerships: Actively seek out and establish relationships with potential enterprise clients including financial institutions, tech firms, and other essential stakeholders.
  • Formulate and Implement Business Growth Strategies: Collaborate cross-functionally to devise customized strategies geared towards enterprise clients in line with the organization's objectives.
  • Boost Revenue Generation: Create and execute plans to enhance revenue through strategic partnerships, involving negotiations on contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutual value.
  • Serve as an Industry Expert: Stay updated on market trends, industry dynamics, and competitor activities to offer insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the main contact point for enterprise clients, ensuring their needs are met and promptly addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and legal, to ensure consistent execution of business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relevant fields with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the enterprise sector.
  • Profound knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications within enterprise landscapes.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to develop and implement intricate business development strategies.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with blockchain tools and platforms is advantageous.
