Currently, we are in search of a seasoned business development lead to drive our go-to-market strategy for stablecoin issuance and banking solutions in APAC or MEA regions, with a specific focus on forging strategic partnerships with renowned banks and enterprises. The ideal candidate must leverage extensive expertise in areas such as Foreign Exchange (FX), institutional lending, or correspondent banking to showcase the transformative potential of our platform in treasury operations, FX settlement, and inter-bank transactions.
As the senior business development leader, you will be tasked with overseeing the complete deal lifecycle, nurturing executive-level relationships, structuring intricate commercial agreements, and acting as a trusted consultant on digital asset integration. Essential to this role is your role as a pivotal force in the growth of our stablecoin business in the region, gathering essential market insights to shape our global product strategy and utilizing your vast network within the APAC or MEA financial sector to close significant deals.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the stablecoin team to propel growth and success in the digital currency realm through fostering high-value client partnerships and monetizing our stablecoin offerings.
- Serving as a champion of Anchorage Digital's stablecoin solutions, positioning the company as a reliable partner for issuance and integration.
- Providing vital client perspectives and market intelligence on stablecoin applications, aiding in shaping our product roadmap and business strategy.
Candidate Profile Criteria:
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge on applying blockchain and digital assets to resolve real-world inter-bank challenges, including expertise in fund flows, settlement mechanisms, correspondent banking, and cross-border payment structures.
- A robust network within the global banking and financial enterprise ecosystem in APAC or MEA, with a focus on engaging decision-makers.
- Familiarity with existing and potential stablecoin issuers within the region and understanding the regulatory framework and key players.
- Over 10 years of experience managing institutional client engagement processes from opportunity identification to navigating complex payment and settlement deals to successful onboarding.
- Thrive in a dynamic start-up environment and exhibit superior communication skills and sales acumen.
- The job predominantly centers around direct sales and revenue generation, rather than partnership management.

- Strong expertise in the global payments landscape, encompassing correspondent banking models and enterprise structures, with emphasis on the regional market's unique regulatory environment and payment rails.
- Proficient in a relevant regional language is highly preferred.
