Business Lead, AI

As a pivotal member of our Strategy Execution team, reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, the Business Lead AI is responsible for driving the implementation of DFINITY's AI strategy across key functions such as R&D, Product & Ventures, Partnerships, Marketing, Business Development, and Ecosystem Growth. Responsibilities:

• Strategy Execution and updates: Spearhead the implementation and refinement of DFINITY's AI strategy, ensuring cohesion and cooperation among various teams.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as a central liaison, fostering alignment and collaboration across technical and business units for successful execution of AI initiatives.
• Program Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and KPIs for AI-related projects, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Forge strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive the growth of AI initiatives within the DFINITY ecosystem.
• Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities for DFINITY's AI initiatives.
• Advocacy and Evangelism: Represent DFINITY's AI endeavors in industry events, conferences, and partnership discussions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a technology-driven setting.
• Proven track record in executing business strategies, particularly those involving AI or complex technology implementations.
• Strong interpersonal and management skills, including experience in steering cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency in the AI and Web3 ecosystem.
• Willingness to travel.
