About The Role:
We are in search of a motivated Business Development Manager to drive the global expansion of Binance Pay. In this role, you will focus on identifying valuable merchant partners, leading commercial negotiations, promoting product adoption, and fostering strategic collaborations to enrich the Binance Pay ecosystem. Collaborating across various departments, including Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Compliance, Legal, and regional teams, you will implement go-to-market strategies and expand payment use cases across different markets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, establish, and scale strategic partnerships with payment service providers, acquirers, and high-volume merchants within priority sectors to rapidly grow the regional base of merchants and transaction volume.
- Manage the entire enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to negotiating contracts, coordinating KYB processes, and executing cross-functional integrations to accelerate time-to-market.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at payment service providers, acquirers, and significant merchants, leveraging regulatory positioning and market credibility to forge partnerships within traditional payment infrastructures.
- Develop and implement strategies for regional expansion, prioritizing impactful verticals like gaming, iGaming, trading platforms, e-commerce, OTA, and digital services, while identifying emerging opportunities in underrepresented sectors.
- Work closely with various teams to tailor solutions, streamline onboarding procedures, and devise joint marketing efforts to boost merchant adoption and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) growth.
- Analyze merchant and partnership performance data to segment accounts, enhance commercial terms, boost profitability, and maximize long-term ecosystem benefits.
- Stay updated on the competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and market trends to refine regional strategies and guide global distribution expansion of payment services.
- Track and deliver on ambitious key performance indicators (KPIs), such as merchant base growth, onboarding targets for acquirers, and measured expansion in transaction volume.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level business development, with a proven ability to engage and negotiate with C-suite executives and manage complex, multi-party partnerships.
- Possess a robust network within payment service providers, acquirers, payment processors, or financial institutions in the designated region.
- Ability to operate effectively in regulated environments, navigate compliance considerations, and address reputational factors when structuring partnerships.
- Commercially astute, resilient, and results-oriented, adept at generating momentum in growth-oriented environments and driving expansion without relying solely on established infrastructure.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret merchant data and translate insights into scalable partnership strategies.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is required for collaboration with international partners and stakeholders; fluency in additional languages is a plus.
