About the role
The Cloud Administrator is responsible for the management and upkeep of cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, availability, and security. This role involves supervising daily cloud operations, regulating access controls, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance within the cloud environment.Applicants should be based in our Barcelona office and possess the right to work in Spain.
Responsibilities
- Construct and deploy cloud environments for clients and internal testing
- Maintain and enhance existing cloud-hosted environments, including server upgrades and patching
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze system-related problems
- Document current systems and create and uphold policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures
- Monitor infrastructure to sustain system uptime and availability
- Collaborate on internal projects
- Use Azure and PowerShell knowledge to automate routine tasks
- Provide L3 support for systems-related tickets
- Assist the IT department
- Perform on-site interventions at client locations
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in managing Azure cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure resource management, networking, and security
- Proficiency with Windows Server OS, IIS, and SQL Server
- Fundamental understanding of networking and firewall configurations
- Familiarity with Zabbix or similar monitoring tools
- Basic scripting skills using PowerShell
- Knowledge of network topologies and firewalls
- Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Desired skills:
- Linux administration experience
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Exposure to Jenkins pipelines
- Knowledge of Docker containers
- Azure certification is a bonus
Compensation
