Compliance Project Manager

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain various project documents (e.g. kick-off, road map, status updates, RAID log, steering committees, gap analysis, etc.) to ensure effective control framework implementation
Supervise the deployment and utilization of vendor solutions on a global scale, collaborating with global compliance managers to establish new processes
Lead change and best practices in coordination with global and regional teams, conduct read-across to pinpoint deficiencies, and drive projects to rectify these gaps
Coordinate and engage with compliance and other cross-functional stakeholders to propel projects towards successful outcomes
Contribute to requirements gathering, draft BRDs when necessary, and design optimized tool workflows
Conduct business analysis, map processes, and provide solutions and recommendations for respective projects
Assist in creating project update presentations for senior management reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and timely distribution of minutes and action items
Participate in both internal and external programs pertaining to AML/CFT alongside other daily work requirements
Undertake general administrative tasks and other related activities as necessitated to support the above functions aligning with the Company's business needs
Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Demonstrate 3-5 years of project management experience in a financial institution or fintech company
Proficient in Sanctions and vendor solutions, holding a PMP certification; additional certifications like PRINCE2 would be advantageous
Ideally, have prior experience working directly with an independent compliance monitor or financial regulators
Capable of managing multiple projects effectively and leading crucial discussions on AML projects with leadership
Exhibit proactive and assertive communication skills when engaging with project stakeholders
Comfortable navigating through ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Display excellent attention to detail, action-oriented mindset, and commitment to meeting high standards
Posses strong written and verbal communication skills, effective time management, analytical prowess, and investigative capabilities
Subject Matter Expertise in Sanctions & FCC would be a definite advantage
Compliance experience within a financial institution or fintech is indispensable for this position as 80% of projects are compliance-oriented.
