Responsibilities
- Create and manage project documents, such as kick-off, road map, status updates, and gap analysis, to establish a robust control framework.
- Collaborate with compliance managers worldwide to implement new processes and oversee the deployment of vendor solutions.
- Lead change initiatives and share best practices across global and regional teams, identifying gaps and driving projects to address them.
- Facilitate coordination and collaboration with compliance and other stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Contribute to requirements gathering and develop efficient tool workflows by conducting business analysis and process mapping.
- Deliver solutions and recommendations for respective projects, also supporting senior management reporting with project update slides.
- Engage in internal and external programs on various topics including AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism).
- Perform general administrative tasks relevant to the assigned functions based on business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of project management experience in either financial institutions or fintech companies.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance and familiarity with vendor solutions. Candidates without compliance experience will not be considered.
- PMP certification is required; PRINCE2 or other certifications will be advantageous.
- Preferred experience working directly with independent compliance monitors or financial regulators.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with project stakeholders assertively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with ambiguity.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
