Compliance Training and Implementation Manager
Job Summary:
Circle, a leading financial technology company, is seeking a versatile and experienced professional to join our Compliance Operations Scaled Services team. As a Training and Project Management Specialist, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive onboarding curricula, managing learning programs, and overseeing important Compliance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial crimes compliance, along with expertise in project management and adult learning principles. Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver an immersive onboarding program for new hires and contractors worldwide.
- Enhance the Compliance Operations training program for continuous improvement.
- Develop necessary learning materials and facilitate training for various business activities and product launches.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Engineering, Talent Development, and Customer Success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and shifts to ensure the learning program remains relevant and adaptable.
- Assess training needs and requirements for new products and conduct training assessments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training program and make necessary iterations based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Provide oversight for training governance and drive initiatives to meet training needs.
- Support key Compliance and Compliance Operations projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to project planning, including scope definition, timeline management, and resource coordination.
- Foster collaboration within Compliance teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and address challenges within the Compliance domain.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and provide insights for future project strategies.
- Recommend process improvements and identify beneficial tools or methodologies.
- Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders throughout Compliance projects.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance, including developing training procedures and leading projects.
- Proficiency in defining learning and development needs and developing targeted curricula.
- Strong project management skills and experience in initiating, planning, and closing projects within compliance/compliance operations.
- Understanding of stablecoins, digital currency, and blockchain technology.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment, handling both L&D and project management responsibilities.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to partner with key stakeholders to deliver impactful learning programs.
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and their application in designing and delivering training programs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to address potential issues and risks related to compliance training.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions based on key performance indicators.
- Experience in risk evaluation and mitigation strategies for training and project initiatives.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Asana or Jira.
- Experience or familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
