Your Role

Working closely with our designers, channel owners, product marketing team, and marketing leads, your main responsibility is to create, edit, and refine various types of content to convey a clear, concise, and consistent voice across all channels. We are searching for an individual who can advocate for content quality, performance, and brand values, while also bringing a conceptual and creative mindset, strategic questioning approach, and continuous optimization mindset.

Your Responsibilities

• Create short-form content for Circle's website, blog, and product copy, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice.
• Utilize messaging frameworks provided by brand strategy and product marketing teams to extract value propositions and translate them into engaging copy with clarity and impact.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of our writing style guide, creating rules for specific target audiences and regions, and identifying areas for improvement in our existing messaging.
• Incorporate storytelling techniques to develop compelling content hierarchy and information architecture in design work.
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, and marketing leads to develop innovative creative strategies for campaigns, collateral, web materials, etc.
• Develop customer emails that are engaging, actionable, and testable, utilizing attention-grabbing subject lines.
• Craft promotional copy for multi-channel campaigns, including landing pages, social media, paid media, branded events, video, and more.
• Lead the ongoing development of a writing style guide, working towards continuous improvement and ensuring consistent adherence to brand standards.

What You Bring to Circle

• Over 12 years of creative copywriting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, results-driven, creative marketing environment.
• A passion for words and their power, even if you have never worked in-house or for a startup before.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, ranging from C-suite executives and institutional investors, to developers, policymakers, and crypto enthusiasts.
• Strong ability to gather and synthesize information quickly, delivering high-quality copy within given timelines.
• Interest or knowledge in the crypto space, coupled with a proactive drive to understand our customers, interview internal stakeholders, and learn on the job.
• Experience collaborating with legal and compliance teams to develop approved terms and phrases, while maintaining brand consistency.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects with varying deadlines and working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
• Active participant in strategic discussions and creative reviews, with experience working in agile teams and adapting quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal forms, including presentations and brainstorming sessions.
• Experience collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers.
• Fearlessness and adaptability in ambiguous situations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and MacOS preferred.
