Your Role:
You will collaborate closely with our design, product marketing, and marketing teams to ideate, write, and refine various types of content, ensuring a clear, concise, and consistent voice across all communication channels. We are seeking a content expert who is in touch with performance and brand advocacy, able to think conceptually and write creatively, while also offering strategic input and continuous optimization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop concise content for Circle's website, blogs, and in-product communication, aligning them with the brand voice.
- Utilize provided messaging frameworks to extract value propositions and transform them into engaging copy that emphasizes clarity and user engagement.
- Contribute to and enhance the writing style guide, focusing on segment-specific and geo-specific guidelines, while identifying areas for improvement in our messaging to reinforce the brand voice.
- Utilize storytelling techniques to create engaging content hierarchies and improve information architecture in our design work.
- Collaborate with creative directors, designers, and marketing leads on innovative creative strategies for campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Produce captivating and actionable customer emails with attention-grabbing subject lines.
- Create compelling, multi-channel campaign copy for landing pages, social media, paid media, branded events, video content, and more.
- Lead ongoing development of the writing style guide, advocating for its use and evolution within the organization.

Qualifications:
- 12+ years of creative copywriting experience, specifically in a fast-paced, result-oriented, creative marketing environment.
- Passion for language and its impact, even if you have not worked in-house or for a startup previously.
- Able to effectively communicate with individuals at different levels, including C-suite executives, institutional investors, developers, policymakers, and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
- Capable of quickly gathering and synthesizing input, iterating on copy to meet deadlines.
- Passionate about or knowledgeable in the crypto space, with a willingness to learn and adapt to customers' needs and preferences.
- Familiarity with collaborating with legal and compliance teams to develop compliant copy while maintaining brand consistency.
- Comfortable multitasking on various projects with varying deadlines, coordinating with cross-functional teams for alignment.
- Experience with strategic kickoffs and creative reviews, working within agile teams that value adaptation and iteration.
- Strong communication skills, both in writing and oral presentations and discussions.
- Previous engagement with external creative agencies and freelancers.
- Proactive problem-solving ability and comfort in navigating ambiguity.
- Detail-oriented and highly observant.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and MacOS preferred.
Additional Information:
- Day-one PERM sponsorship available for eligible candidates.
- Circle embraces a transparent salary philosophy that considers various factors, including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and organizational requirements.
- Starting base pay range: $160,000 - $207,500
- Annual bonus target: 17.5%
- Additional benefits include equity, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), discretionary vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave per year, and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
