Looking for a talented individual to join a top-tier team in blockchain development at Ava Labs. The team focuses on delivering efficient solutions for Web3 using Avalanche technology. Founded by brilliant minds from Cornell and finance experts, Ava Labs aims to reshape the landscape of permissionless networks. They are revolutionizing value creation in the Web3 space. Join the team to participate in empowering individuals to easily tokenize assets on a single blockchain platform.
The Data Platform team at Ava Labs is in search of a Senior Software Engineer skilled in high-throughput systems. This role involves taking significant ownership of the Avalanche API user experience and guiding the development of various Data-API products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement distributed, scalable APIs to support internal projects and the wider Avalanche community.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to introduce new features in blockchain applications and services such as Avalanche Explorer and Core Wallets.
- Work in tandem with the data engineering team to construct and integrate blockchain-specific data processes.
- Develop new services related to NFTs, DeFi, and blockchain gaming.
- Provide leadership to the team and establish best practices for maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of backend development experience with a focus on enterprise APIs.
- Prior experience in decision-making roles for high-throughput systems.
- Strong proficiency in Typescript/Node.js, with prior experience a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with data pipelines and exposure to Golang considered advantageous.
Salary Range: $142,200 to $178,000 (actual offer may differ based on experience and location)
