We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Credit Trader to enhance revenue growth and facilitate institutional engagement with our Prime Financing solution. Responsible for driving the Prime Financing business, this role involves originating tailored lending and credit solutions to address capital limitations for prominent crypto-native and traditional financial institutions.

As a Credit Trader, you will:

• Strategize and manage a range of credit structures, from agreements to control arrangements.
• Create innovative credit structures and agreements to accommodate evolving loan portfolio requirements.
• Contribute solutions-driven approaches to tailor offerings matching client needs for revenue expansion across market conditions.
• Negotiate, draft, and execute all legal contracts pertinent to the lending division.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate and devise credit opportunities for scaling our lending operations effectively.
• Optimize collateral movement across platforms to maximize utilization, yield, and funding.
• Prepare detailed operationalization memos for existing and upcoming funding facilities within CeFi and DeFi realms.
• Cultivate and oversee crucial external funding relationships.
• Regularly assess risk levels and market trends to pinpoint optimization areas and lead enhancements.

If you possess:

• 6+ year background in credit trading or financial product structuring, ideally at a top-tier investment bank.
• Extensive knowledge of crypto markets, particularly in financing, with experience in lending at leading cryptocurrency platforms being desirable.
• Proven experience structuring complex financial products for institutions and startups.
• Strong awareness of legal and regulatory standards for U.S. financial products.
• Sound track record building robust interdepartmental ties with legal, operations, compliance, sales, and business units.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the capacity to address client demands, drive revenue, and take initiative.
• Proficient in risk management with a history of crafting control frameworks for sustainable growth.
• Detail-oriented, organized work ethic with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Extra points if you have experience with:

• Script writing and Python for automation, data manipulation, and analysis.
• Legal or advanced degree in Financial Engineering or related quantitative domain.
• Keeping abreast of crypto derivatives strategies and the DeFi ecosystem.
