Crypto Research Strategist - Zürich

The range includes innovative offerings such as the first spot Bitcoin and spot Ethereum ETPs, as well as the recent launch of six digital asset ETFs in the US, including ARKB, a prominent spot Bitcoin product in the industry.

Role Overview

We are in search of an enthusiastic Crypto Research Strategist to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for candidates with a robust financial background, a keen interest in the crypto industry, and a desire to contribute to our research, products, and sales services' excellence. As a client-facing Crypto Research Strategist, you will showcase exceptional client support and play a substantial role in cutting-edge crypto research. Strong familiarity with the crypto market and understanding the significance of digital assets in traditional investment portfolios are essential for this role. This position is located in Zurich and reports directly to the Head of Research.

Key Responsibilities and Scope

Crypto Market Research:

• Display proactive and inquisitive research skills to keep pace with the rapidly evolving crypto landscape.
• Develop insightful quantitative and qualitative analyses of crypto markets.
• Utilize quantitative analysis and portfolio theory to form strategic crypto investment recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance standards, and product advancements to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Prepare research reports, market summaries, and presentations to support business development and client education activities.

Create strategic institutional-grade content on crypto assets, such as weekly insights and asset primers, to bolster the company's thought leadership and presence in the market.

Client and Sales Support:

• Assist the distribution team with sales activities in the US by offering valuable market analysis and research.
• Engage with potential clients, provide information on services and investment opportunities, and address inquiries in a timely manner.
• Regularly communicate with clients, offering updates on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment options.
• Provide specific insights and recommendations pertaining to product offerings, addressing client concerns on market fundamentals, portfolio structure, and performance.

Develop and deliver product-related training sessions and presentations for both clients and internal stakeholders.

Product Support:

• Stay informed on the ETF/ETP landscape, particularly within the crypto markets, and offer strategic alignment and guidance on product strategy.

Stakeholder Management:

• Drive collaboration with US stakeholders in distribution and research to enhance market presence and drive strategic initiatives.

Thought Leadership and Research Engagement:

• Manage media inquiries to ensure proactive engagement with the press.
• Participate in conferences, panels, and webinars to advocate for research-driven strategies and enhance industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with a CFA or similar certification considered a plus.
• Demonstrate a deep passion and understanding of the crypto and blockchain industry.
• Bring 3+ years of experience in equity research, investment advisory, product strategy, or related roles in the financial services sector.
• Strong quantitative skills with a solid grasp of portfolio theory, allocation, and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with ETF/ETPs and their application in the financial markets, especially within the crypto space.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, translating complex concepts effectively.
• Have a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset.

Note: This role is located in Zurich, Switzerland, with a hybrid working model from the Zurich office on Mondays through Wednesdays.
