Seeking individuals ready to take on a challenge, our client is in need of a proficient Customer Support Engineer to join a vibrant team. An ideal candidate should boast solid experience in technical support, specifically in cloud technologies, such as AWS (preference for Azure and GCP) and Kubernetes.
This role demands exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to communicate technical information persuasively to audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
What you'll be involved in:
- Provide technical support internally and to customers, promptly resolving issues and queries.
- Master product knowledge in integrating cost sources (AWS, GCP, Azure, MongoDB, Datadog, etc.) and Kubernetes to assist customers, enhance documentation, and optimize the product experience.
- Aid customers in creating scripts and automation tools leveraging APIs.
- Design and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continually learning and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
- Offer feedback to product and engineering teams for enhancing product functionality and user experience.
- Establish internal knowledge bases and training modules on common technical queries and challenges.
Required skills include:
- Excellent proficiency in English - both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working 9-5 EST while allowing flexibility within core hours.
- Extensive experience in technical support or similar roles.
- Prior involvement in supporting a B2B SaaS application.
- Strong grasp of AWS services, with practical experience in identity and access management. Familiarity with GCP and Azure is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing applications utilizing Kubernetes, including EKS, GKE, and AKS.
- Skilled in Python or alternative scripting/programming languages.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- A proactive problem solver with a continuous learning mindset and a knack for tackling complex technical issues.
