Position Summary:

The selected candidate will assume responsibility for securing the company's systems against potential cyber threats through continuous monitoring and risk mitigation efforts. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about fortifying defenses against data breaches, malware attacks, and other cybersecurity incidents to make a valuable impact.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to spot and rectify security weaknesses within systems and applications.
• Act as the primary point of contact for monitoring security alerts and examining network traffic for any suspicious activities or unauthorized intrusions.
• Create, deploy, and manage security controls for the AWS cloud ecosystem, encompassing relevant services like IAM, S3, and EC2.
• Coordinate closely with the Enterprise IT team to ensure secure configurations for applications integrated with containerization and serverless functions on AWS.
• Automate security operations and adhere to AWS security best practices, emphasizing the Security by Design paradigm.
• Oversee and sustain endpoint security solutions, encompassing Antivirus/Malware Protection, Vulnerability Management, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
• Develop, upkeep, and enforce security policies and procedures to align with industry regulations and top practices.
• Investigate and address security incidents, including responses to data breaches and malware infiltrations.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to embed and uphold security aspects in the software development lifecycle within the AWS cloud environment.
• Conduct security awareness sessions for employees to advocate safe computing behaviors.
• Stay abreast of critical security threats and implement suitable mitigation approaches for container exploits and serverless vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferable).
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in cybersecurity with a focus on operations, governance, and compliance.
• Hold professional security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CRISC, etc.) for added merit.
• Profound understanding of cloud security principles, threats, and vulnerabilities specific to AWS setups.
• Familiarity with regulatory and data protection laws applicable in Singapore.
• Display robust leadership capabilities, including managing cross-functional global teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies relevant to AWS deployments.
• Proficiency in leveraging cloud-native security tools like SAST and DAST.
• Sound understanding of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
