Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Engage in various data-related tasks encompassing engineering, complex visualizations, machine learning model development, and experimentation.
• Analyze and interpret substantial volumes of transactional, operational, and customer data utilizing a mix of proprietary and open source data tools, platforms, and analytical toolkits.
• Translate intricate insights into simple visual representations and actionable recommendations for operational teams and senior executives.
• Contribute within a fast-paced industry and organization where rapid deployment is crucial.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in a quantitative field like Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.
• Bring 8-10 years of hands-on experience in an Analytics or Data Science role.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and teamwork, coupled with a quick aptitude for adopting new tools, techniques, proprietary analytics software, data models, and programming languages.
• Exhibit a natural curiosity to detect, explore, and elucidate data trends and patterns, with the ability to simplify complex technical findings and concepts for effective communication.
• Display a keen interest in Emerging Technologies associated with Blockchain, Machine Learning, and AI.

Competency in two or more of the below areas:

• An analytical software (e.g., R, SAS).
• A data visualization tool (e.g., Qlikview, Tableau, PowerBI).
• A database management tool (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Neo4J).
• Programming languages (e.g., VBA, C++, Java, Python).
