In the Business Management Team, the primary focus is on evaluating business performance, creating visualizations and reports, steering the organization towards leveraging modern analytics, and ensuring data integrity across various departments like Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Business Development.
The role entails responsibilities such as overseeing the maintenance of data visualization and collaboration tools, providing expert support related to the platform and products, generating reports on client behaviors and trends for the Business Development team, conducting data-driven analysis to stay abreast of competitor offerings and market positioning, identifying additional data sources to enhance capabilities, and supporting the team in daily activities through report preparation and meeting support.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in analytics/data science in the tech industry
- Proficiency with SQL (particularly Redshift) for at least 3 years
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau for over a year
- Academic background in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or related fields preferred
- Experience working in small, diverse analytics/data science teams
- Strong data preprocessing skills
- Capability to translate ambiguous requests into actionable reports
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in data visualizations
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, SQLAlchemy), Jira, and clear communication skills
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and enthusiastic about supporting the organization through data science practices
