About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and play a key role in developing and maintaining user tagging systems. This involves creating accurate user profiles and deriving actionable insights from extensive user data sets. Collaboration with various teams is essential to support personalized services, risk control strategies, and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Construct and uphold a detailed user tagging system to aid in personalized services and risk management efforts.
- Analyze user behavior data to establish dynamic user profiles that provide valuable insights.
- Conduct data mining, exploratory analysis, and feature engineering to extract meaningful information from large-scale data sets.
- Work closely with different departments such as Product, Risk, Marketing, and Technology to enhance user segmentation and targeting strategies.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of user tags and profiles to improve data accuracy and relevance over time.
- Support the aggregation of data for informed decision-making processes company-wide.
- Identify user behavior patterns, anomalies, and emerging trends to contribute to business growth and risk mitigation strategies.
- Play a part in refining data methodologies, profiling frameworks, and analytical processes for ongoing improvement.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in areas such as data analysis, user profiling, or customer segmentation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with big data platforms and related tools is advantageous.
- Understanding of user tagging methodologies and user journey mapping is crucial.
- Knowledge of fraudulent activities and familiarity with associated operating models is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an international, fast-paced team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Experience with AI technologies is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in internet platforms, fintech, risk control, growth analytics, or anti-fraud domains.
- Knowledge of experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and user lifecycle analysis.
- Experience handling large-scale behavioral datasets and real-time analytics scenarios.
