Description

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for constructing predictive models, interpreting valuable insights from extensive datasets, and facilitating data-informed decision-making within a highly analytical setting. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning and statistical models for forecasting, pattern recognition, and financial analytics.
- Handle both structured and unstructured datasets, including market data, alternative datasets, and event-driven information sources.
- Create and manage scalable data preparation and feature engineering workflows.
- Perform thorough backtesting, validation, and performance assessments to assess model strength and diminish overfitting risks.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field like Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience working with extensive analytical or financial datasets.
- Profound knowledge of statistics, probability, machine learning, and quantitative analysis.
- Understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, or investment data is beneficial.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, with expertise in key data science and machine learning libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Solid skills in SQL and data querying.
- Experience handling high-volume or real-time datasets is advantageous.
- Strong critical thinking abilities with a detail-oriented and hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach.
