Overview:
As a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer at Binance, your primary responsibility involves architecting and maintaining a highly adaptable and enterprise-scale data warehouse that facilitates accelerated insights while minimizing redundant work. Your role will center around leveraging expertise in data modeling, governance, and Big Data technologies to design efficient ETL pipelines, enhance performance, and establish monitoring frameworks. Collaboration with various teams, mentoring peers, and continuously upgrading the data platform to meet large-scale environment requirements are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a scalable data warehouse according to company specifications and business needs, reducing redundant development efforts and speeding up delivery.
• Develop, test, and oversee data models and ETL processes, troubleshoot complex issues expeditiously, and optimize calculation logic and pipeline performance.
• Take the lead in data governance by creating and managing metadata systems and quality monitoring mechanisms.
• Support the growth of the technical team through mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and enhancing collective skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in crafting and implementing data lakes and data warehouse solutions.
• Profound knowledge in data warehouse modeling and governance, including expertise in dimensional modeling and information factory methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one of Java, Scala, or Python, alongside strong capabilities in Hive & Spark SQL programming.
• Practical exposure to OLAP engines (such as Apache Kylin, Impala, Presto, Druid) and building high-throughput batch pipelines on Big Data platforms.
• Familiarity with key Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and more, as well as experience with AWS Big Data services.
• Exceptional analytical and system design skills, understanding business requirements and effectively formulating solutions.
• Strong collaborative mindset, fostering partnerships across teams and stakeholders.
