Digital Asset Operations Associate

Animoca Brands seeks a Digital Assets Operations Associate to join their team. They are looking for a candidate with a keen interest and solid grasp of the crypto space. The role requires experience in technical operations like wallet management and trade operations within the crypto domain. Proficiency in crypto-native activities and professional exposure are vital. Key technical skills entail familiarity with crypto technologies and processes, while essential soft skills include effective communication, teamwork, eagerness to learn, and meticulous attention to detail. Desired qualities include adaptability, adept problem-solving capabilities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate must possess both technical expertise and a proactive attitude towards learning and collaborative work.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the entire digital assets lifecycle, covering aspects like token-vesting schedules, balance sheet management, and trade settlements.
• Executing token transfers and payments meticulously and in line with established protocols.
• Assisting Animoca Brands' affiliated and incubated projects (Mocaverse, Open Campus, The Sandbox) with their token logistics needs.
• Managing derivative settlements tied to OTC deals.
• Safely managing company wallets, including hardware, on-chain, and custodian wallets.
• Handling the onboarding process for new counterparties (exchanges, custodians, trading desks) while ensuring compliance with KYC/AML regulations.
• Actively engaging in DeFi activities such as token swapping, providing liquidity on DEXs, and staking tokens.
• Supporting token listing processes on both CEXs and DEXs.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams to maintain smooth digital asset operations.

• Proficiency in managing hardware wallets and applying security best practices.
• Understanding of DeFi, on-chain explorers, and different blockchain networks.
