Exodus is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Director of AI. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our company's AI strategy, with a focus on enhancing the productivity of our developers. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for AI, a strong ability to learn and adapt quickly, and a desire to shape the future of AI technology through innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's AI strategy, with an emphasis on improving developer productivity.
- Utilize and showcase the effectiveness of Language Learning Models (LLMs) in generating functional code and improving the development experience.
- Create a clear implementation roadmap for AI initiatives, evaluating various technologies and successfully launching AI solutions.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within development teams, promoting consensus through multiple channels.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of implemented AI solutions, ensuring seamless integration and gathering feedback for improvement.
- Deliver progress reports to the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, findings, and proposed adjustments.
- Stay informed and up to date on the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, identifying opportunities for enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 6+ years of software development experience, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- 2+ years of experience leading or building mid-size to large teams (20+ people).
- Proven ability to deliver production-ready AI-powered solutions.
- Prior experience in strategic roles.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and/or React Native.
- Experience in training and refining LLMs to generate high-quality, context-aware code.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of security, cryptography, cryptocurrencies, protocol design, and implementation.

Benefits

Paid Time Off: You will receive 30 days of paid time off annually, in addition to the flexibility to work from anywhere and anytime. Part-time employees are eligible for 15 days of paid time off.
Unlimited Bereavement: We offer two weeks of full paid salary for the loss of immediate family members, with additional time allowed for grieving.
