We are seeking a competent Director of Engineering to lead our Go Network Engineering segment in expanding our settlement network and enhancing its capabilities. While this role does not involve hands-on coding, the Director of Engineering is expected to contribute closely on a technical level to the team's work.
The standard work arrangement includes one day in the office in NYC per week. Remote work options are available for the rest of the week, if preferred.
Key Duties:
- Responsible for the growth of BitGo’s Go Network business channels
- Work collaboratively with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other essential stakeholders to set both product and technical strategies and execute them effectively for Go Network
- Mentor engineering managers to nurture the development of future senior engineering leaders at BitGo
- Cultivate an inclusive engineering culture aligned with our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client-centric approach
Requirements:
- 14+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 6 years in a managerial capacity and 2+ years leading managers
- Crypto industry experience, either professional or personal, or a strong interest in the field
- Successful experience transitioning to a new organization as a manager or director
- Proven track record in attracting and recruiting top engineering talent, particularly talented managers
- Demonstrated success in spearheading engineering-wide initiatives
- History of effective collaboration with product teams to devise product roadmaps
- Strong stakeholder management abilities, especially in interactions with business stakeholders
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field of engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Details:
