Director, Trading Risk Manager, Quant Trading Team

*: The Quant Trading team manages trading risks for various crypto products, encompassing spots and derivatives. This team formulates and executes trading strategies within dynamic and intricate trading environments.

As a pivotal member of the Risk team, play a key role in developing and implementing risk management strategies for the Trading Business. This includes crafting and executing a robust Risk Management Framework and Operational Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to establishing risk governance processes for novel products and business initiatives. Formulate appropriate risk policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with quant developers to construct automated trading controls and enhance risk infrastructure for better real-time risk exposure monitoring.
• Generate and analyze market risk metrics, such as VaR and Greeks, and provide comprehensive commentaries and reports to traders and senior management.
• Conduct regular reviews of risk limits and systematically perform risk assessments based on comprehensive analysis of extensive data sets.
• Implement tools for effective identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of all significant risks. Promptly escalate limit breaches to senior management.
• Carry out trade and position reconciliations, as well as P&L attribution analysis.
• Aid in maintaining efficient trading flow by troubleshooting issues throughout the trade lifecycle.
• Contribute to business continuity planning efforts.

Requirements

• Possess a degree or higher qualification in a quantitative discipline. Additional professional certifications like CFA and FRM are advantageous.
• Hold a minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant roles such as Risk Management or Model Validation, combined with both hands-on and managerial experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with knowledge in other programming languages considered a plus.
