Ecosystem Associate, APAC

Founded by former Jump Trading members, Monad Labs is a technology startup focusing on high-speed programming, compiler optimization, and multithreaded computing to construct an ultra-high-performance smart contract platform. They are seeking a dedicated team member to contribute to building an optimal stack-based VM that supports multithreaded computation and implementing an efficient Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) algorithm for consensus among a network of nodes. Monad Labs recently secured $225M in series A funding to expand their team and advance the development of the Monad blockchain.

Role Overview:

The Ecosystem Growth team is responsible for driving the growth of the Monad ecosystem by supporting teams working on ambitious projects on the platform. As an Ecosystem Growth Associate, you will be tasked with developing and overseeing growth initiatives for early to mid-stage projects across different sectors like DeFi, gaming, and NFTs. Utilizing a blend of creativity and data-driven insights, you will strategically prioritize support for various verticals, manage internal and external systems, and address challenges proactively. The ideal candidate should demonstrate self-sufficiency, organization, ambition, and possess experience in L1/L2 ecosystem development.

This role is fundamental to the success and expansion of Monad, offering a distinctive opportunity to significantly influence the trajectory of the ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience in ecosystem growth within a blockchain environment or similar field
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong bias towards action
• Adaptable, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and cultivate long-term relationships effectively

Bonus skills:

• Previous experience in early-stage startup settings
• Established industry relationships
• Proficiency in multiple languages

Key Responsibilities:

• Devise and implement initiatives to fuel growth within the Monad ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development, DevRel, Marketing, and Operations
• Engage with a spectrum of partners, developers, investors, and service providers to drive ecosystem expansion
• Oversee programs such as grants and hackathons to attract and engage developers in the Monad ecosystem

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive full-time salary ranging from $125,000 - $175,000 (*actual offer may vary based on experience and location).
