Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the Global High-Risk Client program and the maintenance of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Policies & Procedures for Retail & Corporate High-Risk Clients.
- Provide strategic support and insights on monitoring high-risk customers and other key HRC/EDD initiatives.
- Lead Global High-Risk Client Governance Forums to facilitate collaboration and information sharing between First Line of Defence (FLOD) and Second Line of Defence (SLOD) teams.
- Manage the high-risk customer monitoring program for Global markets, including overseeing enhancement and remediation efforts.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to improve products and systems pertaining to HRC/EDD.
- Document global HRC/EDD requirements and maintain local country-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with local Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) for localization where needed.
- Provide expertise on Customer Risk Rating (CRR) methodology for High-Risk Clients globally.
- Stay updated on global HRC/EDD standards and local requirements in operating regions.
- Prioritize HRC/EDD projects effectively.
- Monitor and handle metrics relevant to HRC/EDD.
- Oversight of global escalation processes concerning HRC/EDD.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
- Possession of ACAMS, ACFCS, or equivalent industry certifications.
- 4+ years of managerial experience.
- 4+ years of experience managing periodic reviews and monitoring of high-risk customers.
- Familiarity with global Customer Due Diligence (CDD)/EDD requirements.
- Proficiency in implementing customer risk scoring frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) and sanctions risks.
- Knowledge of global licensing requirements in financial services and crypto-related business activities.
- Experience in dealing with complex beneficial ownership structures.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote working environment.
