Engineering Manager
Our client, an international technology company, is currently expanding its engineering organization in Taiwan. They are in a significant growth phase and are looking for an experienced technical leader to help scale engineering operations and contribute to the development of fintech platforms in the healthcare sector within the US market.
Backed by experienced founders and global investors, the company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a Taiwan-based engineering team. This role involves working closely with product and leadership stakeholders in the United States, driving engineering execution, and providing technical leadership on system architecture.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a software engineer, with at least 5 years of experience and 2+ years of engineering management or team leadership experience. They should excel in mentoring teams, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments. Fluent English and Mandarin communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate with US-based teams during flexible evening hours. An ownership mindset and the ability to operate independently in dynamic settings are also crucial.
