As the Engineering Lead for Atlas at Anchorage Digital, you will spearhead a pivotal engineering team positioned at the nexus of crypto innovation and institutional-grade infrastructure. This role requires owning the technical vision and implementation for Atlas, driving a high-performing team to deliver impactful software solutions on a large scale.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant engineering experience, including extensive background in leading and scaling engineering teams.
- Proven track record of successfully managing medium to large teams, delivering outcomes of significant scope, influence, and impact.
- Proficiency in leading amidst ambiguity, translating business strategies into actionable plans, and steering execution in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated capability in talent development, mentoring managers and senior engineers, creating supportive and high-performing teams.
- Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear strategies, influence stakeholders, and foster alignment across teams.
- Practical experience in developing complex distributed systems (primarily utilizing Go), emphasizing engineering and management skills over specific programming languages.
- Proficiency in conducting live technical programming interviews and evaluating pull requests, maintaining a "player-coach" skill set.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and collaborating across multiple time zones.
Bonus Criteria:
- Exposure to crypto, blockchain, or fintech infrastructure at scale.
- Background in finance industry and traditional finance settlement operations.
- Professional experience with technologies such as Go, Rust, TypeScript, or Solidity.
- Emotional resonance with the soundtrack from Hamilton, depicting the founding of a new financial system.
