The rapidly expanding Brokerage division at Anchorage Digital is currently venturing into new markets and asset classes on a global scale, presenting a significant opportunity for growth. We are in search of an adept Engineering Manager to collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver top-notch software within strict timelines. In this influential role, your responsibilities will include recruiting top engineering talent, guiding team members towards their career aspirations, and implementing processes that enhance collective performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Engineers, ensuring quality execution, timely delivery, impactful contributions, and individual growth.

Required Experience:

• In-depth familiarity with financial trading systems, particularly in front office, middle office, and back office operations, and solid understanding of the differences from traditional database-backed systems.
• Significant hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and operating financial trading systems, highlighting operational demands under continuous 24/7 operation.
• 8+ years of comprehensive technical experience as a full-time software engineer, alongside 3+ years of successful leadership as a formal people manager for geographically dispersed teams across different time zones.
• Proficiency in leading distributed teams and collaborating cross-functionally to drive outcomes with a focus on long-term service maintenance and code quality.
• Strong background in computer science fundamentals, exceptional problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a knack for learning new concepts.
• Positive attributes including creativity, ambition, attention to detail, hard work ethic, trustworthiness, eagerness to learn, and a resilient nature.

Preferable Experience Include:

• Professional exposure to Go, GCP, GraphQL, or gRPC technologies.
