Description

The successful candidate will be based full-time at the San Francisco office of BitGo, responsible for supporting and enhancing team collaboration and problem-solving efforts within the organization's Custody team.

We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills to fulfill the role of Engineering Manager within our Custody division. The primary focus of this position is on developing resilient and reliable services that empower clients to securely store and access their cryptocurrency assets while ensuring compliance with global regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork
  • Ensure the timely delivery and quality of the team's work
  • Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to establish and prioritize the team's roadmap
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces
  • Drive the creation of platforms for developing secure crypto applications
  • Establish and be accountable for key performance indicators related to development processes, product quality, and customer value
  • Act as a liaison between engineering teams and various stakeholders, aligning team objectives with company goals and client expectations

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a management position

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-team and remote settings
  • Proactive, adaptable, and decisive with strong communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:

Salaries for this role typically range from $180,000 to $240,000 annually, based on level and location, in addition to equity and performance bonuses.
