We are seeking an Engineering Manager to be part of our Custody division. In this role, you will play a vital part in building robust services that allow customers to securely store and access their cryptocurrency while meeting global compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers, nurturing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
- Ensure timely delivery and high quality of your team's work
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to create and prioritize your team's roadmap
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces
- Develop platforms enabling secure cryptocurrency application building
- Track and be accountable for key performance indicators related to development processes, product quality, and customer value
- Act as a positive liaison between engineering teams and product operations, support, compliance, and business stakeholders
- Align team objectives with broader company goals and client expectations
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong inclination towards automation and streamlining workflows
- Proficient in debugging complex systems
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting top engineering talent
- Experience in cross-team and remote collaboration environments
- Self-driven and adaptive with strong decision-making skills
- Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Deep interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, React, and Kafka
- Experience with microservices and service-oriented architectures
