Engineering Managers play a pivotal role in our teams' success, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to SwissBorg's evolution. This position involves managing the SRE and Platform teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable operations.

People Management
- Coach engineers at all levels to aid in overcoming work-related challenges
- Attract, mentor, support, and retain top-notch engineering talent
- Facilitate onboarding for new team members
- Lead efforts in talent acquisition and retention
- Ensure hiring processes align with organizational needs
- Collaborate with other Engineering Managers to develop hiring strategies
Delivery
- Drive roadmap implementation while balancing new features with technical debt
- Manage stakeholder expectations and engage with high-level stakeholders
- Create a productive engineering environment by removing obstacles
- Plan and prioritize the team's roadmap and advocate for projects internally
- Monitor metrics to gauge team progress
- Align outputs and goals with the Product Manager
- Develop and refine processes
- Provide input to influence engineering teams' direction
Desired experience:
- 3+ years in management roles
- Prior experience in team coordination and roadmap delivery
- Background in managing infrastructure teams
- People-oriented approach prioritizing team growth and development
- Proficient in stakeholder management
- Strong communication, group dynamics, and coaching skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in the crypto or blockchain ecosystem
