Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Trader to join our Arbitrage team, covering the US timezone to facilitate around-the-clock trading. This position entails working remotely from either North America or Europe. As a valuable member of the trading desk, the Trader will report directly to a senior trader within the company. The role offers exposure to various aspects of the business, encompassing front, middle, and back-office functions. The individual will engage in analysis, optimization, day-to-day management, and more, with the potential to advance to a Senior Trader role and manage their own portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with exchange partners on margin requirements, coin borrows, trade breaks, and market making needs.
- Assist in executing trades for internal and external clients to achieve optimal results.
- Work closely with trading, middle office, and finance teams to ensure seamless and accurate trade bookings and reconciliation.
- Contribute to the research and development of new trading strategies.
- Provide analytical support to enhance existing trading strategies.
- Contribute to idea generation, strategy development, back-testing, and implementation.
- Monitor and assess the performance of live trading programs.
- Explore cryptocurrency market products, evaluate solutions, and align them with trading strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Passion for the cryptocurrency industry and high-level enthusiasm for the role.
- Prior experience in cryptocurrency, high frequency trading, or derivatives markets is preferred.
- Proficiency in Python/C++ is essential, along with familiarity with various data technologies, including Excel.
- Knowledge and experience in mathematical modeling, big data analysis, data mining, and machine learning are beneficial.
