Qualifications

This position presents an exciting opportunity for individuals experienced in High-Frequency Trading in traditional markets to transition to the expanding global cryptocurrency market. The cryptocurrency sector introduces a higher level of complexity and fresh challenges that require innovative solutions across various strategies such as Market Making, OTC, Ventures, and Arbitrage.

Responsibilities

• Manage a significant trading book during Asian hours, handling operational and trading issues in real-time
• Analyze trading activities and market trends to identify opportunities for improved performance
• Collaborate with global trading and middle-office teams to ensure accurate trade execution and reconciliation of front and back-end systems
• Interact with exchange counterparts to manage margin requirements, trade disputes, and market-making needs
• Participate in enhancing existing trading strategies and developing new methodologies
• Contribute to idea generation, strategy formulation, back-testing, and implementation
• Solve complex pricing issues related to cryptocurrency derivatives
• Develop tools and models to automate daily tasks and enhance trading efficiency
• Utilize proprietary back-testing and simulation tools for strategy evaluation
• Research cryptocurrency market products to identify solutions that align with trading strategies

Requirements

• Experienced traders with a background in high-frequency trading and strong quantitative skills
• Proficient in designing, developing, testing, and coding trading strategies
• Familiarity with developing complex risk management systems
• Proficient in Python or similar languages for coding
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
