Job Summary
The Fiat Tech Support Specialist at Binance provides assistance for fiat-related products and operations by resolving user and partner issues regarding deposits, withdrawals, banking and card transfers, payment processes, risk and compliance matters. This role collaborates with Customer Support, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and external payment partners to swiftly address service disruptions, minimize reoccurrences, and enhance the overall fiat user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Incident & Case Handling
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiat products such as bank transfers, local payment methods, card transactions, refunds, and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Conduct end-to-end investigations by identifying root causes, coordinating solutions with Engineering/Product teams, and managing high-severity cases and partner-related outages.
Partner / Payment Rail Support
- Collaborate with payment service providers, banks, and other fiat partners to diagnose connectivity problems, settlement issues, and callback/webhook errors.
- Validate partner integrations, support new fiat rail onboarding, and ensure operational readiness for country launches.
Operational Excellence
- Enhance troubleshooting playbooks and internal tools, document known issues, workarounds, and escalation procedures.
- Lead post-incident reviews, monitor service health signals, and address anomalies promptly.
Compliance & Risk Coordination
- Work closely with Compliance/Risk teams on cases involving KYC/AML triggers, sanctions screening, fraud detections, and chargeback investigations.
- Uphold data handling guidelines and adhere to internal policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in technical support or operations within fintech, payments, banking, or exchange domains.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting APIs, transaction systems, data analysis, and familiarity with fiat payment concepts.
- Strong written communication skills for external user updates and internal incident coordination efforts.
