Fraud Product Manager

Blockchain is a prominent software platform for digital assets, committed to creating an inclusive and equitable financial future through innovative software development. We are seeking a seasoned and technically adept Product Manager to spearhead our Anti-Fraud team. In this role, you will be entrusted with enhancing Blockchain.com's risk and fraud frameworks to ensure a smooth user experience while deterring fraudsters effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with industry specialists to establish benchmarks and formulate strategies to surpass them, in order to develop a top-tier risk and anti-fraud function.
• Craft and execute a product roadmap, monitoring industry trends to pinpoint risks, opportunities, and enhancements.
• Deploy and manage systems that can identify and prevent fraudulent activities using advanced analytics, machine learning models, and real-time monitoring tools.
• Continually evaluate and analyze the impact of existing and new features on key performance indicators and user engagement.
• Team up with multiple departments such as engineering, data science, operations, compliance, and more to devise and implement fraud detection and prevention mechanisms.
• Engage external vendors to explore strategies and solutions for fraud protection.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of fraud incidents and develop remedies to curb such occurrences.
• Collaborate with Risk Operations to create automation and tools that increase operational effectiveness.
• Manage timelines and coordinate multiple product roadmaps to ensure on-time feature releases and minimize delays.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate motivation, curiosity, and a proactive attitude.
• Hold 3-5 years of experience in Product Management roles.
• Possess a background in payments, fraud prevention, risk management, or relevant sectors within financial services.
• Exhibit robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in interpreting intricate data and trends.
• Have experience working in cross-functional teams and handling timelines efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft comprehensive feature requirement documents and interface effectively with stakeholders and senior management.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to user-centric design.
• Proven record of delivering products in a technical environment and collaborating closely with developers.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with risk and fraud teams leveraging data science for fraud mitigation.
• Knowledge of payment rails like cards, ACH, Apple Pay, SEPA, Faster Payments, etc.
• Familiarity with the digital currency or FinTech landscape.
