Front End Engineer - Consumer Services

The Consumer Services department focuses on offering a range of web3 services to Ledger users, empowering them to securely engage in buying, swapping, or selling crypto assets. While Ledger is not an exchange platform, we strive to collaborate with service providers to establish a comprehensive crypto services hub.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical aspects of desktop and mobile development for Consumer Services.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, designers, and product teams within Consumer Services.
- Forge strong relationships with partner firms to streamline integrations.
- Drive code reviews, uphold high coding standards, and advocate for best practices.
- Ensure top-notch quality in Consumer Services and mentor front-end team members.
- Spearhead innovation in crafting crypto services, leveraging quality software, UI/UX, security, and blockchain tech.
- Share expertise within Ledger and with external partners.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in front-end software development.
- Strong proficiency in a JavaScript framework, with a preference for React, and solid understanding of TypeScript.
- Experience with testing technologies like Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library for robust applications.
- Detail-oriented UI design focus to enhance user flows and experiences proactively.
- Track record of handling complex projects emphasizing performance and scalability while preserving simplicity.
- Familiarity with modern tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
- Problem-solving skills, creativity in tackling technical hurdles, and a collaborative team player mindset.
