Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to craft website functionalities and user interfaces.
• Develop, test, and uphold scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs.
• Design database structures and enhance query performance and scalability.
• Build and deploy front-end applications utilizing contemporary frameworks like React.
• Implement robust security protocols to safeguard data integrity and platform security.
• Engage in troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution across the technology stack.
• Participate in code evaluations to ensure code quality, readability, and long-term maintainability.
• Draft comprehensive and clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proficient in frontend technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript and React framework.
• Skilled in back-end technologies such as Node.js and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with SQL databases.
• Proficient in version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication methodologies (e.g., OAuth2, JWT), and web security principles.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with acute attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in online product development.
• Background in localization or translation-focused platform development is a plus.
