Working at Wintermute
We seek a Frontend Engineer to join us on a contract basis for a 15-20 week engagement. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to crafting products and applications that are user-friendly and engaging.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with our Senior Frontend Engineer to craft front-end applications for Wintermute's new trading products and client-facing portals.
Requirements
- Possess over 3 years of experience as a front-end developer in a high-performing setting, preferably with experience in scale-up environments and having led the delivery of a full product or feature group.
- Proficient in React library (Next.js), HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Demonstrated ability to create intricate, SEO-friendly website architectures from the ground up.
- Experience working on client-facing, public internet services.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with PHP, Symphony, WordPress, and JavaScript is advantageous.
- Prior experience in professional service sectors (e.g., finance, insurance) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Russian can be an added advantage.
Notes
- Location preference for the UK (not mandatory to be in London but occasional commutes may be required).
- Immediate availability for a 15-20 week commitment.
