Our client, a renowned global leader in hydraulic systems technology for commercial vehicles, is seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Global Data Management Senior Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee data accuracy and governance, establishing and leading a new data management team from scratch. Key responsibilities include ensuring the precision, completeness, and consistency of critical data across various systems, crafting a master data strategy, engaging with stakeholders, defining data requirements, and implementing governance policies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive master data strategy, overseeing changes to master data in adherence to standards, validation rules, and governance procedures
- Perform data profiling and validation across multiple systems
- Create and implement robust data governance processes and controls to uphold data quality, integrity, and security
- Define data attributes, hierarchies, and relationships aligning with business needs to ensure organizational consistency
- Design and implement training programs and end-user support for data management practices and quality control
- Participate in change boards to review and approve modifications to data structures, definitions, and policies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in master data management, data governance, or similar fields within an ERP IT environment
- Proficient in data analysis, dashboarding, and data quality assessments. Familiarity with SQL and/or Python is essential
- Knowledge of MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
