Scope of the role:
We are in search of an experienced Marketing Lead to spearhead our global marketing efforts. As the sole marketing expert within our team, this individual will be responsible for devising and implementing our marketing strategy. Leveraging their expertise in both financial services and the crypto space, the Marketing Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand visibility, driving customer acquisition, and supporting revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record working with institutional clients, creative strategic vision, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to execute impactful marketing initiatives.
Role and responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
- Provide strategic counsel to management on the direction of the company's marketing endeavors.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with corporate and business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies.
- Establish performance metrics for tracking marketing endeavors and report to management on outcomes.
Thought Leadership:
- Foster thought leadership by creating high-quality content, such as blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies, leveraging internal expertise to position the company as a thought leader in the digital asset industry.
Event and Conference Management:
- Identify, plan, and oversee the company's participation in key industry conferences and events.
Social Media and Digital Marketing:
- Manage the company's social media presence and digital marketing campaigns.
- Develop engaging content to heighten brand visibility and audience engagement.
Product Marketing:
- Craft presentations and materials that effectively communicate the company's value proposition and product offerings.
Marketing Campaigns:
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to design and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns in support of global client acquisition efforts.
Internal & External Communications:
- Act as the primary point of contact for external PR firms to coordinate and manage external communications, including press releases and media relations.
- Enhance internal communication strategies to ensure alignment with external messaging and overall company goals.
Brand Development:
- Drive the conceptualization and implementation of the company's brand vision, maintaining consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7+ years of marketing experience in financial services, preferably within the digital asset sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Proven track record of working with institutional clients.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience marketing products and services to institutional clients.
- Understanding of the current regulatory landscape pertaining to digital assets.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
